Cycling Tour to Rajgir – 2N & 3D

The flow of two wheels of a bicycle ride is magical as your bike passes through hills and reaches magnificent Ghora Katora Lake. Itinerary

Day 1 : Patna (arrival) – Nalanda – Rajgir

Arrive at Patna Airport/Railway Station, on arrival Visit Bihar tour representative will assist you in getting transferred to your car. Then get driven to Rajgir. En-route visits the Ruins of Nalanda University, Nalanda Archaeological Museum at Nalanda. On arrival at Rajgir, check in to your pre booked hotel. Later visit Cyclopean Wall, Ashokan Stupa, Griddhakoot Hills, Son Bhandar Caves, Maniyar Math. Evening back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 : Rajgir – Ghora Katora – Rajgir

Today after breakfast proceed to foot hill of Griddhakoot or Vishwa Shanti Stupa Hill. Our company representative will assist you in getting your bicycle. He will also provide you a bottle of mineral water and some light snacks/lunch as requested. . Now start cycling through lush green forest road. After 15 minutes of ride, you will find a watch tower located in foothill (adjoin to forest road/ cycle trail), here you may watch the diversity of flora and fauna. Later start your drive to Ghorakatora Lake. On arrival relax in lap of nature, in winter many migratory birds including; Little Cormorant, Greater Cormorant, Black Winged Stilt, Brahminy shel ducks etc has been found. You may also enjoy the boat ride in lake. Relax for few hours and then back to foothill of Aerial ropeway.

In Evening back to hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 3 : Rajgir – Patna (departure)

Today after breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Patna. On arrival at Patna, drop off you at Airport or Railway Station for your onwards journey to Home.
